This day-long event will allow representatives from Digital Commonwealth member organizations to gain hands-on experience creating metadata about historical photographic images from their own collections. In addition to learning about the preferred content standards for the new Digital Commonwealth repository, attendees will have an opportunity to work in a collaborative, supportive environment. Staff from the Boston Public Library will be leading the work party and representatives from the Digital Commonwealth Outreach Committee are coordinating the event.
